what is house?

A house is a building ,a dwelling place or a residence where  human live .

we are going to look at six common types of houses. Read till the end.

1.FLAT

A flat  is also known as an an apartment. 'Flat' is a British term for a set of rooms that forms a residence within one floor, while an 'Apartment' is an American term for a set of rooms that could be over one floor. 

In simple terms a flat is a separate dwelling within a house with it's own entrance ,bathroom and kitchen. (These are one-story units within a multi-unit building)

 

2.DETACHED HOUSE

A detached house is a stand-alone residential structure that does not share outside walls with another building. There is also a semi-detached  house which is attached to another house by one house.

3.BUNGALOW

A bungalow house is a one-storied house with a low-pitched roof . Realtors may define it as a house  having one and a half stories tall , with inviting front porches shaded by roof overhangs help up by visible beams and rafters.

4.VILLA

A villa is a standalone house that comes with a yard or a veranda . You will find villas built in the same area forming a sense of togetherness or a feeling of a community that building flats have .They give you privacy similar to that found in bungalows. Examples of villa designs are; Spanish villa design , Italian villa design, Resort villa design  ,Twin villa design , and many more.

5.MANOR

A manor  house is a large private house ,(mostly found in Europe countries) it includes the land smaller buildings around it. These types of houses were mostly built in the middle ages .

6.MANSION

A mansion is a large dwelling house .These houses have very unique designs which are luxurious.
